LG washers use two-letter codes to tell you why a cycle stopped. Here is what the common ones mean and what to try first.
MeaningWater inlet problem
First thing to tryOpen both faucets fully and check the inlet hoses for kinks. If it comes back, call a technician.
MeaningDrain problem
First thing to tryCheck the drain hose and clean the drain pump filter if your model has one. If it comes back, call a technician.
MeaningUnbalanced load
First thing to tryRedistribute the clothes evenly and restart. Avoid washing a single heavy item alone.
MeaningMotor lock
First thing to tryRemove some clothes, turn the washer off for a few minutes and restart. If it returns, call a technician.
MeaningDoor problem
First thing to tryClose the door firmly and make sure nothing is caught in it. If it continues, call a technician.
MeaningOverfill

MeaningPressure (water level) sensor
